Our many behind-the-scene volunteers and their helpful smiles are what keep the Foundation running smoothly at the Fair. Each year over 400 Blue Ribbon Foundation volunteers donate their time and energy by helping sell merchandise at the Foundation trailers and other locations, or by selling bottled water at one of the Foundation's many water stands.

By utilizing volunteer workers, merchandise and water sales become more profitable, which allows the Foundation to put more profits toward renovation projects rather than expenses. All volunteers work in four-hour shifts with a staff member present. Responsibilities include selling merchandise and answering general questions about the Foundation's many fund-raising programs. Volunteers receive a complimentary admission ticket and parking pass for each day they work, as well as a Blue Ribbon Foundation volunteer t-shirt.
