Hello Fairgoers!
My name is Morgan McBee, and I am honored to introduce myself at the Blue Ribbon Foundation’s 2026 Donor Relations intern this summer. This spring, I will graduate from Iowa State University, where I study Advertising and Event Management.
Growing up in Ankeny, Iowa, the Fair has always been the highlight of my year, as it’s a place rooted in community and tradition. Being part of that legacy is something I am truly grateful for.
Of course, one of the best parts of the Fair is the food! When August rolls around, I always make sure to save extra room for all the good eats! My favorites are porkchop on a stick and gluten-free corndogs.
Beyond the food, concerts, and excitement, one of my favorite Fair memories is volunteering at water stands with my mom. Not only did it give me a new perspective on the Fair, but it also felt meaningful to give back and help create a great experience for others.
I can’t wait to make more memories and continue celebrating the traditions that make the Iowa State Fair special.
