The Volunteer Portal is Still OPEN!

Volunteers continue to be the backbone of our organization as they truly make our mission possible! Through their work, we are able to raise money to help renovate and improve the Fairgrounds for Fairgoers to enjoy each year during the Iowa State Fair. This year is no different as we continue to seek your generous help at the Corndog Kickoff in July and the State Fair in August.

With the Corndog Kickoff being a month away, we are seeking a couple more volunteers to help on July 13th with the shuttling of guests on a golf cart. To show our appreciation for your generosity, you will receive a free T-shirt. Please see the details and shift description below:

Golf Cart Driver (5:15 pm – 10:30 pm) – 2-person team: Shuttle guests to and from the parking lots to the north and south entry doors, especially as the event begins and at the end of the evening

In addition to the Kickoff, we are also asking for those who love the Fair to consider volunteering at either our water or merchandise booths. We still have several spots, but are specifically looking for those who can generously give their time during the 1pm-5pm or 5pm-9pm shifts. As a volunteer at the Iowa State Fair, you are able to interact with many fairgoers and have fun! You will receive a free T-shirt, admission ticket and parking pass for the day. Therefore, you are able to soak up all of the Fair fun before or after your shift!

To sign up and see the specific slots available, please visit our volunteer portal or click the QR code below. As always, you can find additional information by visiting our website at https://www.BlueRibbonFoundation.org/, calling us at (515) 262-3111 Ext. 371, or stopping by our office.

We are grateful for the willingness of our generous volunteers as you all continue to make each year a success. We look forward to seeing you at the Fair in just a couple months!
