Lucky for you, the Blue Ribbon Foundation is selling the 22nd Edition Iowa State Fair Cookbook and it is available for pre-order now. All of the pre-orders will be shipped to your home. You can also purchase the cookbook at our merchandise booths at this year’s Fair. Don’t miss this opportunity to impress others with your baking or make a delicious meal for your family!
These one-of-a-kind cookbooks include prize-winning recipes from the 2022 and 2023 Iowa State Fairs. These include appetizers, snacks, side dishes, main dishes, breads, desserts, and more! For only $20, you can become a pro in the kitchen, while also helping the Blue Ribbon Foundation’s mission of preserving the historic Fairgrounds.
The Iowa State Fair is proud that it hosts one of the largest food departments with more than 700 classes and hundreds of individual entries. Thanks to a generous donation from the Elwell Family, the Elwell Family Food Center was created in 2007. This is just one example of the work that continues to be done on the Fairgrounds so that many can enjoy the Fair each year. Please see a picture of the before and after of the building below.
