Hey Fairgoers!
My name is Madison Price, and I'm so excited to be serving as the Donor Relations Intern for the 2025 season. I'm a rising junior at Central College, studying Spanish and Communications with plans to go into event planning. Fun fact - I just recently got back from a semester abroad in Granada, Spain! I grew up in Ankeny, Iowa, participating in student council, FCA leadership, and the State Teen Panel for military children in Iowa. These roles are how I found my passion for leadership, organization, and event coordination.
Going to the Fair was always my favorite thing about summer. Every August, you could be sure to catch me eating fried chicken on a stick, watching the horse shows, and simply enjoying the magic of the Fair. I also spent a few Fair summers volunteering for the Puppy Jake Foundation in the Varied Industries Building. Through that experience, I met so many Iowans and learned what the Fair means to different people.
I'm eager to be on a different side of the Fair this year. While not enjoying the magic myself, I believe that the Blue Ribbon Foundation will give me the tools necessary to "be a magician," and create the magic for others.
