The Blue Ribbon Foundation is counting down the days until the Corndog Kickoff Benefit Auction and Fair Food Grazing Party, our largest fundraising event of the year. The Corndog Kickoff enables the Foundation to raise critical funds for improvements of the historic Iowa State Fairgrounds.
The “Stir It Up” theme for this year’s Corndog Kickoff, which will take place in the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on July 12, celebrates the competitive Iowa State Fair food department. It’s only fitting that the 2025 Corndog Kickoff features every foodie’s dream come true: a classic bake sale! Whether you’re an avid baker or a baked goods connoisseur, we invite you to take part in this exciting new component of the Corndog Kickoff.
If you would like to donate an item to the bake sale, please contact Grace Benson at 515-262-3111 Ext. 378 or PublicRelations@BlueRibbonFoundation.org for more information. Items must be dropped off at the Varied Industries Building by Friday, July 11, or the morning of July 12. We do not have any specific presentation guidelines, but we ask that you only provide items that do not need to be refrigerated.
Your participation in the Corndog Kickoff bake sale will help ensure that the Fairgrounds remain a source of Iowa pride for generations to come. We can’t wait to “Stir It Up” with you!
