Do you have a friend who has made a positive difference in your community? Is there someone in your neighborhood working to make our state a better place to live? Would you like to help recognize someone who demonstrates the true meaning of being an Iowan?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, the Blue Ribbon Foundation invites you to nominate your stand-out community member for the 2025 Iowan of the Day Award! In partnership with Cookies Food Products, we are currently seeking the next group of outstanding Iowans to be recognized for their integrity, dependability and strong work ethic—some of the best qualities associated with Iowa.
Each Iowan of the Day winner will receive a day of recognition at the 2025 Iowa State Fair that includes:
- $200 cash award
- Hotel accommodations at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown
- Four Iowa State Fair gate admission tickets
- Four Grandstand show tickets for the night of his/her award day
- Use of the Iowan of the Day golf cart for his/her day at the Fair
- Introduction and award presentation on the Anne & Bill Riley State
- VIP parking

More information and nomination forms are available here. All Iowan of the Day nominations must be postmarked no later than July 1, 2025. Nominees must currently reside in Iowa.
