This is your chance to transform your creativity into wearable art and showcase your unique style to thousands of Fairgoers. Whether your inspiration comes from bold graphics, clever slogans, or meaningful messages, the goal is simple: capture the spirit of the Iowa State Fair in a design that stands out.
The winning design won't just earn bragging rights, but it will be featured on an official T-Shirt sold in the Iowa State Fair Store. Even better, proceeds from T-Shirt sales will support the Blue Ribbon Foundation’s mission to enhance and preserve the historic Fairgrounds. It's a win no matter what: your design gets the spotlight while giving back to the beloved Iowa tradition.
Here's how it works:
Submit your original T-Shirt design by May 1 by emailing it to Info@BlueRibbonFoundation.org.
A selection committee will review all entries and choose the top five designs. Those finalists will then be featured on the Blue Ribbon Foundations website and Facebook page, where the public can vote for their favorite design.
Voting will be open from May 11-15. The winner will be announced on May 18, and the top three will receive Iowa State Fair prize packages.
What you can win:
1st Place
• Your T-Shirt design is produced to sell at the Iowa State Fair
• 2 T-shirts, 2 admission tickets, 2 Fair Value Packs, 2 tickets to the Grandstand concert of your choice, $50 in food coupons and parking for a day at the Fair
2nd Place
• 2 admission tickets, $25 in food coupons, parking for a day at the Fair and a T-Shirt with your design
3rd Place
• 2 admission tickets, $25 in food coupons and a T-Shirt with your design
