The Iowa State Fair is preparing to celebrate America's 250th Birthday in August. It is a chance to reflect on our nation's heritage, history, and heartland pride. We are anticipating to showcase the Iowa State Fair to visitors from across the country.
This make the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation even more excited to show off improvements of the historic Fairgrounds.
One of the ways our mission comes to life is through the annual Corndog Kickoff Benefit Auction. Celebrating its 30th anniversary on Saturday, July 11, this beloved event raises critical funding for improvements. We invite you to join us for the event as a Patron.
Why the Patron Program Matters: The Corndog Kickoff is certainly a celebration with Fair food and Sky Gilder rides, but its real impact comes from its Patrons. Becoming a Corndog Kickoff Patron means more than simply attending the event. It means helping preserve a tradition many Iowans hold dear. Patron contributions fund essential upgrades, keeping the Fair safe, accessible, and flourishing .

Best of Show - $10,000:

Grand Champion - $7,500:

Champion - $5,000:

The event also offers a silent and live auction. Donations are always welcome, including gift baskets, restaurant and retail gift cards, event tickets, handcrafted goods, artwork, collectibles, farm and garden items, themed baskets, overnight stays, unique experiences, and behind-the-scenes tours.
