Hello Fairgoers!
My name is Haley Van Zee, and I am honored to introduce myself as the 2026 Sponsor Relations Intern. This fall, I will graduate from Drake University, where I study Information Systems and Data Analytics.
As the Sponsor Relations Intern, I will assist the ISF Sponsorship Director, Julianna Curtis. I’ll also help with a portion of the Corndog Kickoff Benefit Auction and merchandise sales during the Fair.
I grew up in Altoona, Iowa, where attending the Iowa State Fair was a yearly tradition. Being able to get a closer look at something so important to me is a privilege.
One of my favorite parts of the Fair is the food, I always make sure to try a few of the top new fair foods! My favorite Fair foods are brisket mac & cheese and fried Oreos.
Other than the food, I enjoy concerts, the animal barns, and spending time with family. The Fair is a time when all my family can spend time together. This is a big reason why the fair is so important to me, making new memories with the people that mean the most.
I cannot wait to make new memories this summer and continue to celebrate the Iowa State Fair.
