Sweet treats are needed for one of our favorite Corndog Kickoff traditions!
As part of this year’s Corndog Kickoff Benefit Auction and Fair Food Grazing Party, the Blue Ribbon Foundation is once again hosting its popular bake sale during the festivities on July 11 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
We are looking for bakers willing to donate cookies, bars, brownies, pies, breads, candies, and other homemade favorites to help make the event a success. Every baked good donated helps support the Blue Ribbon Foundation’s ongoing efforts to renovate, preserve, and enhance the historic Iowa State Fairgrounds.
This year’s “American Classic” themed event celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the United States and will be held in the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building. We’re excited to showcase a variety of classic homemade desserts that highlight the traditions and flavors we all know and love.
