Calling all creatives!
The Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation is officially inviting artists and Fair lovers to submit their designs for the annual T-Shirt Design Contest. Your creativity won't just be seen, but it will make an impact.
The winning design becomes part of the official Iowa State Fair merch, sold during the Fair to support the restoration and renovations across the historic Fairgrounds.
Designs should include:
- the words "Iowa State Fair."
- capture the Fair Spirit, traditions, or iconic moments of the Fair
- be eye-catching and original
- more requirements here
After submitting your designs, a panel will select the top five designs, and cast a public vote (May 11-15). The winner will be announced on May 18th, and the top three vote-getters will each receive exclusive Iowa State Fair prize packages:
1st Place: Your T-shirt design is produced to sell at the Iowa State Fair, 2 T-shirts, 2 gate admission tickets, 2 Fair Value Packs, 2 tickets to the Grandstand concert of your choice, $50 in food coupons, and parking for a select day at the Fair
2nd Place: 2 gate admission tickets, $25 in food coupons, and parking for a select day at the Fair
3rd Place: 2 gate admission tickets and $25 in food coupons
