The Iowa State Fairgrounds saw extra traffic this week as people from across the United States and world attended the World Pork Expo. The Fairgrounds make a great location for this large event as producers, professionals, and guests come together to learn, network, and explore opportunities within the pork industry.
The Fairgrounds is busy all year-round, hosting popular events like the World Pork Expo, Central Iowa Railroad Open House and NSR/NJSA Exposition Swine Show & Sale when the Iowa State Fair is not in session. One event you won’t want to miss is the Goodguys Car Show, taking place July 3–5. From one-of-a-kind classic cars and fireworks to patriotic celebrations honoring America’s 250th birthday, this event offers something for the whole family.
