Happy Holidays Blog Post – December 2023

Amidst the busy seasons of life, the days when family, friends, and loved ones gather together can often seem few and far between. However, when these days come, they are celebrated as if no time had passed and cherished as life-long memories. Holidays, birthdays, weddings, reunions, and of course, the Iowa State Fair are just a few of the celebratory times that cause us to pause, reconnect, and reflect with thankful hearts on the many gifts we have.

During this holiday season, the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation expresses our gratitude to all of the Fair-lovers who have given their time, treasure, and passion over the past 30 years to help rejuvenate the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

The gift of time – thank you for volunteering and supporting the Blue Ribbon Foundation’s mission to preserve and improve the great Iowa State Fairgrounds.

The gift of treasure – thank you for contributing to our giving programs and capital campaigns that renovate and beautify the Fairgrounds.

The gift of family – thank you for being part of our Fair family. You bring joy to our Fairgrounds when attending the Corndog Kickoff and the largest reunion in our state – the Iowa State Fair.
